How many pictures can I upload?
As many as you want, there are no limits on the number of photos you can upload.
Are events really free?
Yes, all events are free. DropEvent is supported by ads which lets all our events
be free. We offer a premium service to remove ads and add other features, but the basic
DropEvent will remain free.
Can I have watermarks on my pictures?
The content of your photos is completely up to you. You can use DropEvent to promote
your brands and businesses, however you want.
I uploaded a photo but it's not showing in the event?
Events can be configured in two ways, with moderation or without. If an event
is moderated and you upload photos to it, they WILL NOT appear until they are approved.
Only the creator of the event can approve photos.
How do I approve photos?
Log in to your account and click on the event. If there are any photos to approve
there will be a link to take you to the approval section.
Can I remove the ads?
Yes! When you are creating an event you will be given the option to upgrade it. For existing events, log in to your account, open the event and click on "Upgrade this event".
Can I change the event tag?
Yes you can, by upgrading your event. When you are creating an event you will be given the option to upgrade it. For existing events, log in to your account, open the event and click on "Upgrade this event". Once upgraded, you will be able to change your event tag from the "Edit this event" screen.
Can I stop people from downloading the fullsize versions?
Sure, on an upgraded event. Log in to your account, open the event and click on "Upgrade this event". Once upgraded, you will be able to turn off fullsize downloading from the "Edit this event" screen.
How long does my event last?
Free events last for six months. Upgraded events last for one year after the date they were upgraded. We'll send you reminders so you can choose to upgrade or extend your event.
What happens after my event expires?
If an event expires then it will be removed from your event list, and all the photos will be deleted from our servers.
